On the afternoon of April 17th, the mid-term commendation and parents' meeting of Longgao High School for the spring semester of 2026 was successfully held. Subsequently, Zhang Ouya, a student from Class 2501, shared her growth journey as a student representative based on her personal experience. She admitted that when she first entered the campus, the all-English teaching and open classrooms had made her feel at a loss. However, in the encouragement of her teacher and the inclusive learning atmosphere, she gradually stepped out of her comfort zone. Not only did she gain knowledge, but she also learned to think independently and be brave to try. Her mindset also changed from self-abasement and timidity to confidence and composure. She encouraged the students to maintain their passion and curiosity and keep moving forward in the process of exploration.
Zeng Zhen, deputy director of the Overseas Study Service Office, delivered the "2026 Interim Overseas Study Application Quality Report". We introduced to all the parents the outstanding performance of our school's 2026 graduates in the face of the severe situation of intensified competition. Director Zeng also pointed out that in response to the new changes in the 2027 application season, the school has initiated a systematic college guidance program, including one-on-one consultations, background enhancement, GTC courses, and the accumulation of application documents and materials, to help students of all grades plan ahead and prepare precisely. She encouraged the students to lead with planning, give back with persistence, and bravely face the challenges of the future.
