To carry forward the traditional virtue of helping the disabled in the Chinese nation and practice the educational philosophy of benevolence, kindness, responsibility and commitment, Longgao School held a charity donation event titled "Join Hands to Help the Disabled, Gather Strength to Warm the Winter and Fulfill Dreams" on January 16th. This event was initiated and planned by the 9th Student Union and received a wide response from all the teachers and students of the school. Through practical actions, they conveyed love and took responsibility, demonstrating the deep concern and sincere friendship of all the teachers and students for the disadvantaged groups.

A total of 3,736 yuan was raised in this event. All the donations have been uniformly registered and managed in a standardized manner by the school to ensure the process is open and transparent. The funds have been specifically donated to the Dream Fulfillment Station of Yichang Disabled Persons' Federation. Among them, 616 yuan is used to help two disabled children fulfill their New Year's wishes, and the remaining 3,120 yuan has been fully donated to a disabled student at Yichang Science and Technology Middle School for his rehabilitation support and living assistance.

This event is not only a warm transmission of love, but also a vivid demonstration of the public welfare actions initiated independently by our school's students and the joint participation of teachers and students in charitable practices. It further strengthened the sense of responsibility of teachers and students to care for society and assist the weak, demonstrating our school's active efforts in promoting all-round education and cultivating responsible citizens. In the future, the school will continue to support student organizations in carrying out various public welfare projects, gathering more kindness and spreading more warmth.
