On the morning of February 6th, Longgao held the closing ceremony for the 2025 autumn semester. All the teachers and students of the school gathered together to draw a perfect conclusion to the wonderful journey of this semester. The ceremony kicked off with a warm video review of the semester, hosted by Xiao Yaqi from Class 2501 and Liu Yiyang from Class 2301.

At the ceremony, outstanding students and groups who performed exceptionally well in terms of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor this semester were commended. A series of awards covering both personal comprehensive qualities and collective construction have fully affirmed the all-round development and exemplary leadership of the students.

Lei Yuhan, an outstanding student representative from Class 2501, reviewed her growth and gains at Longgao in her speech: In terms of study, the school's unique "small-class teaching" and "GUIDE teaching model" have stimulated her ability to explore actively and think deeply. During the event, from the passionate sports carnival to the broadened cultural exchange tour of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, she honed her spirit of hard work and increased her knowledge. In life, the warm conversations and heartwarming "mentor's heart-to-heart words" from the moral education mentors always make her feel the warmth of being cared for and guided. Her speech was sincere and touching, expressing the common feelings of many students at Longgao High School.

Vice Principal Zeng Fan made a new semester summary. He pointed out that the past academic year was a year of vigorous innovation and bold breakthroughs for the school: the GUIDE teaching model was deeply implemented, the all-staff morning exercise and the all-staff mentorship system were fully implemented, school activities were upgraded, the Japanese language bridging class was successfully launched, and fruitful results were achieved in terms of further education. He emphasized that all changes are aimed at adhering to the unchanging original intention: to cultivate international future talents with cultural competence, dialectical thinking and outstanding collaborative ability. Finally, Principal Zeng gave the students warm reminders and earnest expectations for their winter vacation life.
