Recently, in the preliminary round of the 2025 Global Economics Olympiad (IEO), students from Longgao High School won one excellence award, one first prize, three third prizes, six merit awards, and a silver award in the high school group with their outstanding economic knowledge reserves and analytical abilities.

The Global Economics Olympiad (IEO) is hosted by the International Olympic Academy (IOA) and the Czech Economic Education Society (INEV). It is the only global economics event for middle school students that is officially supported by the International Olympic Committee. It is also the most influential subject Olympiad in the world after the International Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, and Science Olympiads. It aims to stimulate teenagers' interest in economics and cultivate future economic talents. The outstanding performance of our students in this international competition fully demonstrates the solid achievements of our school in subject teaching, cross-ability cultivation and international education.
