Today, I want to talk about something critically important—the science of climate change. I know it sounds serious, but trust me, it’s something we all need to understand.

What’s causing climate change? The primary cause is human activity. Over the past 150 years, we’ve burned excessive amounts of fossil fuels—coal, oil, and gas. When these fuels are burned, they release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. These gases act like a thermal blanket around the Earth, trapping heat. Normally, this natural process keeps our planet habitable, but now we’ve thickened that blanket too much. As a result, the Earth is warming at an alarming rate.
