In order to encourage students' active exploration and research spirit in mathematics, and to enrich students' experience in international large-scale academic competitions, our school, as the official examination site of "Canada Euclidean Mathematics Competition", successfully held the Euclidean Mathematics Competition on April 8, 2021.
The Euclid Math Competition, organized by the University of Waterloo, Canada's most prestigious university, is a Canadian math competition for high school students around the world. It is widely recognized as one of the best math competitions in the world and has a wide international influence. The competition began in 1963 and is 54 years old. Every April, nearly 20,000 high school students from around the world take part in the international competition. The Euclidean competition is a good way to apply for scholarships at the University of Waterloo, which is famous for its mathematics and computer science. It is also a good way to get into universities abroad.
The Euclid math competition is also known as the "mathematics toefl", "the golden key to open the University of Waterloo". In recent years, our school actively encourages students to participate in all kinds of discipline competitions, and has achieved good results in various competitions for many times. In order to meet the demand of the students' self improvement, and targeted for all kinds of competition in our school have a plan, with the purpose of training, make the students not only can achieve better results in the competition, can use the knowledge they learned at ordinary times, from different angles to analyze and solve problems, let the students personal experience the importance of knowledge and ability. In the context of increasing competitive pressure to apply for prestigious universities abroad, our school provides students with a variety of international competitions and opportunities for self-improvement, so as to help students submit a confident application resume and get the offer of the ideal university when applying for university.
